What is Notary Watch?
Created by the National Notary Coalition, this independent reporting platform allows notaries to submit incidents in minutes. We use those reports to identify patterns, track vendor concerns, and bring greater visibility to the issues affecting notaries across the country.
Every report helps strengthen awareness, advocacy, and transparency.

Report
Notaries anonymously report incidents involving companies they have encountered in the course of their work.

Track
Notary Watch categorizes reported incidents and uses established thresholds to assign monitoring and risk classifications.

Identify Patterns
As reports accumulate, NNC uses aggregate data to identify recurring companies, reported issues, geographic patterns and other trends that may warrant attention.

Outreach
When patterns warrant further attention, NNC may contact businesses or other parties identified in connection with reported transactions to request information or a response.

Report & Advocate
NNC may use aggregate Notary Watch data, documented outreach, public records and authoritative sources to produce research, public reporting, education and advocacy.
